Full Stack Ethereum Development Aug 2019

The main libraries for full stack development using Javascript come down to a  Ethers  vs  Web3  showdown. Npm weekly downloads: Ethers - 98,606 Web3 - 127,350 For react native support. Truffle released a library called  Drizzle  which includes a React component library. Reddit support continues to be limited on reddit.com/r/ethdev. In addition to ethereum.stackexchange.com, these two communities are the main source of brainstorming technology stacks. Stay tuned.

Progress towards Ethereum App Development

This blog will serve as a placeholder until the new Ethereum decentralized application is ready for public release and testing. A few things have happened to the Ethereum ecosystem  during the summer of 2019 that has made me confident the application idea holds promise: - Mobile release of MetaMask wallet on July 22 - ENS naming service released short names, allowing for a user friendly way of verifying who the recipient of the application is - Price recovery to mid ~$300 USD, demonstrating that there is market interest in Ethereum after a big speculative crash Updates on application development soon to come.
